This policy describes how Chirp FM collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites and apps.
Information we collect
Account details you provide (username, display name, password hash), invite-key redemption records, listening preferences you save in the app, device identifiers used for session continuity, and technical logs (IP address, browser type, error reports) needed to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
To authenticate you, personalize stations and taste settings, connect Spotify when you choose to, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
Spotify, podcast hosts, news and sports data providers, and infrastructure vendors (hosting, email) may process data under their own policies when you use integrated features.
Retention & security
We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal or operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard safeguards; no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Your choices
You may request account deletion or export by emailing help@chirp-fm.com. You can disconnect Spotify from Profile settings.
Children
Chirp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the effective date when we do.
